WANTED: A COOL ROOMMATE ASAP!!
So life has been pretty great...minus a few money issues!
Camp was a BLAST! I got asked to be a CLT (christian leadership training) counselor with Van and Emily Hardin, who are ridiculously impactful and loving!! What's so great abou CLT is the oldest campers go to a different camp 7 hrs away from Cho-Yeh called Camp Eagle in the TX hill country. It is beautiful there! We drove down an eight mile dirt road to get to the camp from the highway. For two weeks, CLT is completely seperate from the normal Cho-Yeh campers. We do our own thing Sunday-Tuesday. We leave the first Wednesday and return a week later and do our own thing again until Saturday morning. At Camp Eagle, we did some rock climbing on natural rock, and, let me tell you what, it was more fun than climbing a man made wall. I loved it!! We also went kayking, team belaying, hiking, and did a 184-repel (sp?). I had the time of my life. The food on the trail was pretty good, but the last dinner was the best...hobos: ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, green peppers, and bbq sause wrapped in aluminum and thrown on some coals then cooked to delicious perfection!! Mmmmmm...
The next week I had a "regular" cabin at Cho. I got blessed with the oldest girls! They were the IDEAL cabin. Any counselors dream come true!! Not kidding! I will never have a cabin like that again. Camp is so amazing b/c everything is God-centered. It makes life so easy in some aspects (for 2 wks at least!). It was nice to have that breath of fresh air! Matt came in the last Saturday! So it was nice to see him for a few hours!
His new apt is really nice. I really like it. I wish I could see him this wknd but for now not possible.
Mallory has moved in, and it has been nothing but fun!
I had a date with my dad last night. It was really nice to be able to spend that time with him!
Well, I'm off to play some Ultimate!
Love you guys!
